Ira Bennett
RESIDENTIAL DIRECTOR
Ira has specialized training in creating a therapeutic milieu, suicide prevention and management. He served in the U.S. Army as a Sergeant, holding leadership roles throughout his entire service. His military experience strengthened his leadership, mentorship, and communication skills, while fostering an approachable and team-oriented environment.
Ira has a passion for guiding and supporting others, and he is known for being dependable, approachable, and committed to helping those around him succeed. His leadership style is grounded in accountability, connection, and leading by example.
He says, “I believe the best leaders are those who stay approachable, lead from the front, and invest in the growth of the people around them.”
Outside of his professional and academic life, Ira enjoys staying active.
